Practical worksheets, reusable checklists, calculators and CMMS export preparation. Use the Tool Center for interactive diagnostics and the Knowledge Base for complete technical articles.
XRVE Reliability provides free maintenance and reliability guides, calculators, templates, checklists, worksheets, and decision frameworks for industrial maintenance teams. The library covers preventive maintenance, planning and scheduling, backlog, asset criticality, bad actors, repeat failures, CMMS data quality, work-order closeout, CMMS brand guides including SAP PM, eMaint, Fiix CMMS, MaintiMizer, and MaintainX, plus maintenance KPIs and leadership. The methods and browser-local facility analysis in XRVE Free Studio remain free; paid services add ongoing facility intelligence and optional expert-led support.
Use the Maintenance & Reliability Glossary for concise definitions →
Download the templates, adapt them to your CMMS, and put them into your maintenance process. You do not need our permission.
Each resource explains what the metric or method means, what it does not mean, and where weak maintenance data can mislead you.
Explore or analyze your own facility in Free Studio. Paid Intelligence Studio retains authorized history and recurring reviews, and separately scoped consulting adds expert involvement.
Each Excel workbook includes a START HERE guide, an evidence register, calculated screens, and a summary. The screens support decisions; they do not replace engineering, safety, or OEM authority. Original CSV exports remain available for simple CMMS workflows.
These are operating tools, not gated brochures. Start simple, change the fields to match your site, and make the process yours.

Download XLSXMaintenance metrics are signals, not universal grades. Use these to calculate the number, then investigate the operating context behind it.
Do not treat a generic reactive-work target as a universal standard. Compare trend, asset concentration, failure recurrence, business context, and whether reactive demand displaced planned work.
Count work that is real and executable. A backlog full of duplicates, abandoned requests, missing parts, or undefined scopes makes the ratio meaningless.
Compliance tells you whether scheduled PM work happened. It does not tell you whether the PM task is technically effective, necessary, or tied to a credible failure mode.
Read the schedule compliance guide →
Low compliance can indicate emergent work, poor job readiness, production access problems, parts shortages, unrealistic labor loading, or weak schedule discipline. The cause matters more than the percentage alone.
Full maintenance articles and CMMS platform field guides have their own searchable libraries. This page focuses on downloadable templates, calculators and export preparation.
Use the guides and browser-local Free Studio to investigate your approved maintenance records, trace source evidence and build actions. Move to a paid facility account when you need sustained intelligence, authorized team collaboration and recurring review, or request expert analysis and implementation as a separate scope.
